Little Women

I have taken my life time passion for drawing the nude model further by combining my training as a dress designer. I love patterns and textures and of course fashion, so I become very excited to dress up my little nudes with colourful wallpaper and printed paper. The results are always surprising and I just follow my moods and spontaneous instincts. Nothing in my work is planned. I feel that the title “SCHICHTEN” describes my work perfectly.

Freda ist in England geboren und hat auch dort eine Ausbildung als Illustratorin und Dress Designerin erhalten und mit einem LSIA (License in the Society for Industrial Artists) abgeschlossen. Anschliessend ging sie in die Schweiz, wo sie als Fashion Designer bei Braunschweig Couture in Zürich arbeitete. Nach einer Zeit, die der Familie gewidmet war, setzte sie ihre künstlerische Ausbildung fort und experimentierte in allen Medien.

Born in England and trained as an illustrator and dress designer with a diploma LSIA (License in the Society for Industrial Artists), Freda moved to Switzerland where she worked as a fashion designer in the company Brauschweig Couture in Zurich. After raising a family she continued her training in art and experimented in all media.
